Jr. MEP Design Engineer

Responsibilities
Assist in preparing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection system designs under supervision.
Develop and update layout drawings, schematics, and details using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar software.
Ensure all designs meet architectural coordination and space requirements.
Support plumbing and drainage calculations, pipe sizing, and fixture unit analysis.
Key Skills
Ensure all drawings follow local building codes, international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC, IPC), and project specifications.
Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, UPC, and SMACNA standards.
Stay updated on energy efficiency requirements and sustainable design practices (LEED, ASHRAE 90.1, etc.).
oordinate MEP designs with structural and architectural teams to resolve clashes and maintain constructability
